Unlike other chemical skin peels, the VI Peel™ is virtually painless, requires no skin pre-conditioning, and has minimal downtime post-procedure. VI peels are also suitable for the face and body, with the most commonly treated body areas being the arms, chest, back, legs, elbows, and knees.
The VI Peel™ 7-Day Exfoliation process quickly achieves dramatic, visible results, effectively addressing all skin concerns: Reversing sun damage, treating hyperpigmentation, including melasma, acne and acne scarring, ageing skin, and mild to moderate rosacea.
The Science
The VI Peel™ Skin Treatment – A medium-depth, self-neutralising chemical skin peel range designed to target the dermis layer of the skin for optimum results. The stimulation induced by the acid at this tissue layer, where collagen and elastin are formed, forces the skin to regenerate, renewing itself on a cellular level. Medium-depth acid peels with deeper penetration than superficial peels, such as AHA’s, eliminate the upper layer of dead and damaged cells for a fresher, more youthful appearance. VI Peels are a safe, effective approach to achieving healthier and younger-looking skin, providing superior results for all Fitzpatrick skin types.

Booking your initial treatment appointment on the same day as the consultation may be possible in some instances. However, this will depend on the specific treatment needed. It is naturally important and advised to take some time to carefully consider our recommendations and then return at a later date for the treatment appointment.

Upon arriving for your scheduled treatment appointment, your medical history will be carefully reviewed to ensure accuracy. Your practitioner will then explain the intended treatment procedure in detail to ensure it is fully understood and expected. Only after obtaining your consent to proceed will the treatment be administered. You are always welcome and encouraged to ask any questions or raise any concerns at any point during the process.
Your treatment will be conducted in one of our opulent, state-of-the-art treatment rooms. Our practitioner will escort you through each phase of the treatment, guaranteeing your comfort and safety, which are always of utmost importance. We make extensive efforts to prioritise your safety and well-being above everything else, so you can rest assured that you are in good hands.
At each treatment, as part of your medical records, before-and-after photos are taken to illustrate the progress and outcome of your treatment.
After Your Treatment
Once your treatment is complete, we will review the initial results and guide you through the aftercare plan. Before you leave the clinic, we will provide you with comprehensive aftercare instructions, both verbally and in writing. Additionally, we will provide you with any necessary aftercare products or accessories to achieve optimal results.
We provide touch-up cosmetics, cleansers, and moisturisers to help you refresh after treatment and resume your schedule.

Unlike other chemical skin peels, the VI Peel™ requires no pre-conditioning of the skin before treatment.
Avoid scheduling your appointment any less than 6 weeks before going on a sunny holiday and 4 weeks after prolonged periods being exposed to the sun.
The entire process is completed within a week. Following this, results will be visible and continue to improve. Full effects will be visible 4-6 weeks after treatment. Treatment can be repeated from week 4.
It is recommended that 2-4 VI Peels be received per year to maintain lasting results.

The expected side effects of this treatment are skin peeling, shedding, and flaking. The amount of peeling varies from individual to individual.

- Post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH) is rare and can be lifted with a second peel.
- Irritation or sensitivity can easily be treated with 1% or 2.5% Hydrocortisone.
- A rash can be treated with 1% Hydrocortisone.
The unique beauty of the innovative VI Peel™ is that it is the first chemical peel formulated to provide pain-free exfoliation! – They may be an initially tingling and heat sensation upon application. However, this lasts only for a minute or two and quickly subsides.
The VI Peel is known as the “7-Day Peel” because the entire process is completed in one week. During this time, there is minimal peeling time, usually 2-3 days.
